Membership FAQs

PNCRG draws from multiple pediatric specialties: critical care medicine, neurology, neurosurgery, anesthesia, rehabilitation medicine, and neuroscience. The membership has an extensive track-record of publishing within the field of pediatric neurocritical care, and several members sit on the editorial boards of leading medical journals.

PNCRG has recently seen tremendous growth congruent with the field of pediatric neurocritical care. The group is excited to support a multi-disciplinary cohort of clinicians, all sharing a common passion for research that will ultimately improve neurocritical care for children.

New members are welcomed and open to all physicians, nurses, medical professionals, and scientists who focus on pediatric neurocritical care. Discounted membership rates are available for members in developing countries based on the classification of the World Bank Economies of countries (i.e. Low-income, lower-middle-income and upper-middle income economies). See the World Bank List of Economies for detailed information. Contact info@pncrg.org to apply a discounted rate to your membership fee.

Institutional Membership Levels:

  1. Supporting Institutional Membership – $1,000 (USD)
    • Subscription period: 1 year
    • No automatically recurring payments
    • Institution name will be listed on the website
    • Includes:
      • Unlimited trainee members*
      • 5 non-physician memberships (RN, APP, Pharmacy, etc)
      • Does NOT include a faculty membership
  2. Advocating Institutional Membership – $2,000 (USD)
    • Subscription period: 1 year
    • No automatically recurring payments
    • Institution name will be listed on the website
    • Includes:
      • Unlimited trainee members*
      • 10 non-physician memberships (RN, APP, Pharmacy, etc)
      • Includes one faculty membership
  3. Sponsoring Institutional Membership – $5,000 (USD)
    • Subscription period: 1 year
    • No automatically recurring payments
    • Institution name and logo will be listed on the website
    • Institution name and logo recognition at PNCRG biannual meetings
    • Includes:
      • Unlimited trainee members*
      • Unlimited non-physician memberships (RN, APP, Pharmacy, etc)*
      • Includes three faculty memberships (ideally one site-PI and 2 additional collaborating faculty members)

*For the unlimited trainees, please ensure those listed are interested in pediatric neurocritical care.

Benefits: 

  • Access to PNCRG educational resources
  • Sharing of select educational webinar/mini-symposium links with non-members within your institution (or projection of webinars/min-symposiums in conference room)
  • Institutional access to educational archives
  • Designation of Site PI for research opportunities (Institutional representation and member opportunity to participate in all research endeavors/surveys circulated within PNCRG)

Individual Membership: (Note: All faculty physicians require registration (as either an individual member or through an advocating/sponsoring membership).  Advocating institutional members are allocated one-faculty membership and sponsoring institutional members are allocated three faculty positions.  Any additional faculty member not covered by either an advocating or sponsoring membership will require an individual membership.  Non-physician members and trainees do not require an individual membership if covered under their institution’s membership)
